♥ Deci... asemanari intre Isaac si Isus:
- God chose his name Genesis 17:19, Matthew 1:12
- called "Only Begotten" Hebrews 11:17, John 1:14&18, 3:16&18, 1John 4:9
- symbol of "Lamb of God" John 1:29
- "as a lamb to the slauter" Genesis 22:2-12, Isaiah 53:7
- Isaac's sacrifice- On Mount Moriah; Temple Site (Jerusalem)- Mount Moriah [ Mount Moriah- was a heathen strong hold but once conquered it became the nations capital; Earth- after man's fall it became Satin's strong hold but after the 1,000 years will become Gods capital. (Patriarchs & Prophets chapter 70 paragraph 2) ]
- God/an angel announced their birth;
- both their mothers had a supernatural birth - Gen.18:11,12 Luke 1:34,35
- Isaac carried the wood of the burnt offering, Jesus carried the cross - Gen.22:6, John 19:17
- Obedience- Gen.22:9 (he didn't argue), Ioan 8:29
- there was a hope of returning together and of raising up from the death - Gen.22:6 (WE shall return),Hebrews 11:17-19, John 20:17
- All the nations will be blessed because of that sacrifice- Gen.22:18
♥ Something nice about the place- Genesis 22:14,8- The name of the place was THE LORD WILL PROVIDE (Jehovahjireh)- Abraham named it. Hundreds of years later, in the same place, He PROVIDED THE LAMB to die for us, so that we could live

♥ First LOVE
- The first time the word LOVE appears in the Bible is in Genesis 22:2
It is the love between a father and his son- a picture of the love between God and His only begotten Son, Jesus.- The first use of the word LOVE in each Gospel also agrees with this, with Matthew, Mark and Luke recording the Father saying at His baptism: “This is My beloved Son in whom I am well pleased”, and John’s first mention of LOVE is the words of Jesus in John 3:16: “For God (the Father) so LOVED the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have Eternal Life.”
- If we try to think about the first love we know from everlasting, we find it was the Father's love for His Son- Jesus said: “Father, you loved Me before the foundation of the world” (John 17:24; Micah 5:2)
- Now, knowing some more things about the LOVE of God for Jesus... I feel more precious to God
